Digital video electrochemistry (DVEC) applied to the study of Prussian Blue films

Prussian Blue films were electrogenerated on a Pt disc electrode and color changes studied by digital video electrochemistry together with cyclic voltammetry. Three systems of peaks detected. Peaks corresponding to the reduction Everitt's Salt form oxidation Yellow are well related expressed as intensities derivatives. Color showed that these involved complexes mechanisms intermediate species These also existence different sites iron atoms in crystal structure reactivity. A non-zero baseline third electrochemical process at more negative potentials proved not changes.
